“We had the best wildlife morning with Sitka Sea Level Adventures’ Captain Joel on the Seabird!!! He was very accommodating with our priority list of animals to see and knew exactly where to go to find them. We saw four brown bears (#1 priority), many sea otters (#2 priority), and sea lions on a buoy (#3 priority)! We also saw many jumping salmon plus several humpback whales and several bald eagles.

The boat was comfortable and Captain Joel was an excellent driver. He was willing to take our photo when we requested him to. Making a reservation was an easy and efficient process. I highly recommend booking with Sitka Sea Level Adventures!!!”

“We spent a day with Captain Brody on his boat in the waters around Sitka. We took our 5 year old with us and had such a memorable time. We saw sea lions, sea otters, a grey whale, a humpback whale and the beginnings of the salmon run. We felt comfortable and well taken care of. After our “sea safari,” we spent 2 hours at Goddard Hot Springs soaking in the relaxing natural hot springs. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to feel like a local! “We had such an amazing experience with Sitka Sea Level adventures! We found them when getting off the shuttle bus in Sitka from the cruise port and booking with them was very easy. Captain Joel was our guide and having only a captain and 5 other passengers made for a very personalized experience. We were able to see bald eagles, otters, sea lions, and grey whales. The whales were the highlight as we were able to get so close to them. Captain Joel was also able to drop us back at the cruise port, which was another plus. “Captain Jaren was fantastic and super chill. By far this was my favorite tour/excursion of my Alaska cruise/adventure. Unlike the "cruise" excursions, there was nothing canned about Sitka Sea Level Adventures. Jaren is a Sitkan born and raised, and I never felt like I was getting a "spiel"/pre-planned story or that he was talking too much. He was just super chill and let us see what we wanted to see, and talked when we asked questions (which I really appreciated- often these guides talk just way too much, and you can't appreciate the scenery or take in what you are seeing). We just went and saw what we felt like and what he thought we would want to see based on what we discussed before hand. I had a great time and would 100% go again! I can't wait to come back to Sitka. “This was a magical lifetime experience! We saw humpback whales dive, float and blow against the beautiful SE Alaskan scenery. Maureen was an amazing captain and guide! She pointed out so much wildlife, sea otters with their babies, tufted puffins, and other native bird species. This was the highlight of our trip. We couldn’t recommend Sea Level Adventures more!! It was sooo cool to be on a smaller boat with 6 people, we were able to maneuver around quickly and get to know the other people on the tour.
